Recently, we made the decision to close the Inn at Blooming Grove. I want to express our sincere thanks for all your enthusiastic support and, especially to our guests, for bringing us your business.
While this was not an easy decision to make, in the end, it was a simple matter. Running a bed & breakfast is a multi-faceted, ongoing series of challenges. As we progressed, we increasingly found that providing the quality experience for guests that we desired took more and more resources - especially time - away from our family. After spending several months re-organizing, re-arranging, and re-thinking, we began the difficult, but necessary discussion about the possibility of closing. While this was not our plan or first choice, it has been the right decision.
Because several people have asked: At the current time, we have no plans to move. So, "Farewell" seems a bit melodramatic. But we are saying "farewell" to the Inn, and looking forward to our next endeavors.
