The weather is simply gorgeous - temps have dropped to delightful levels. It's still warm enough in the afternoon for shorts, but cool enough in the evenings to enjoy snuggling with a blanket.

Leaves haven't begun turning yet here, but flowering plants who endured the summer heat are feeling revived and blooming to show their own appreciation of the cooler weather.

Alumni and student associations are just around the corner, and we'll be enjoying hosting visitors to these events over the next few weeks.

In the mean time, some of us are heading over to Corsicana this afternoon to see Trout Fishing in America. If you're unfamiliar with them, I encourage you to take a listen.
